The island of Brac is the highest Adriatic and the largest Dalmatian island – Brac, well connected by ferry lines with Split, attracts visitors with its diversity, gentle and gentle coast and rugged landscape in the interior of the island. Once an island of farmers, cattle breeders, fishermen and stonemasons, today it is turned to tourism, but it does not forget and does not give up its tradition.<\/p>\n\n

The most famous tourist symbol of Bra\u010d is certainly the beach Zlatni rat in Bol. However, the whole island is full of beautiful beaches (Banj, Bili rat, Lovre\u010dina, Gumonca, Likva, Bunta, Mala Lozna, Lovre\u010dina, Murvica, Luka) and bays, and the crystal blue sea, unique gastronomic offer and hospitality of the locals give it recognizability due to which is visited by more and more guests every year. Bra\u010d is ideal for a family vacation, but also for those who want adrenaline and fun. The interior of the island offers another dimension – a rich cultural and historical heritage.<\/p>\n\n

Windsurfing fans can enjoy Bol, Supetar and Povlja. Cyclists are offered several routes through beautiful landscapes, and those in shape are recommended to ride to Vidova gora, from where there is a beautiful view of Bol and the world-famous beach Zlatni rat. It also contains many cultural sights, museums, churches, picnic areas, eco-villages.<\/p>\n\n

Unlike all other Adriatic islands, which often look like stone axes sunk into the open sea, Brac has its own interior, rich flora and fauna and a more pronounced experience of the seasons.<\/p>\n\n

The whole island should be declared a unique cultural, historical and natural park, especially the south side, between Vidova gora, Bol’s Zlatni rat and Blaca desert, which forms a unique area where fishing, farming and pastoral Brac meet, with many nooks for solitude and peace, but also distinct social experiences, dance, music and sports.<\/p>\n\n

In a deep valley, some 2 km away from the sea, lies a typical Dalmatian settlement, Dol. The harmonious blend of untouched nature and human creativity give this place a special ambience. In the place there is a beautiful church of the Blessed Virgin Mary with a Renaissance facade, while above the place there are many old Croatian churches, of which the church of St. Petra, where the oldest church bell on the island of Bra\u010d has been preserved.
